Submitting your songs!

Updated: Jul 22, 2022

We are really excited to see so many songs being submitted to us for playlisting on the station

However, we do notice a trend which a few of those submitting to us tend to follow

1/ Please do your research on a possible station to submit to. There is no po

int in submitting rap or hip hop to a country station like ours and we do get so many.

All that does is waste your time and ours.

2/ As we said before the metadata has to be right. Again running a radio takes a lot of time and we simply don't have time to keep changing metadata

It's very simple in Adobe Audition

3/ We would always prefer submissions in WAV format as the larger detail of the file gives better music quality for listeners and as we normalise all tracks to just under 0db the sound quality is much superior.

4/ Finally we prefer country music tracks that are medium paced and have a good catching lyric. Slow tracks we rarely play during peak listening hours and slow tracks need to be very good to hold the listeners attention.

That's it for now. Thanks for taking the time to read.
